Back to Restore Your Photographs
Diane Clancy did quite a lot of work for Beth Caurant who is a musician, songwriter and founder of Lilith (one of the first, successful all female bands). Beth says, "I had been planning to archive my collection of Lilith memorabilia for a few years. My work with Diane began in 2003 when I asked her to scan my photos of the band onto disc. I planned to eventually use these for a web site and perhaps a CD cover for recorded material of the Band. My work with Diane was concise and exacting."
Beth continues, "Last month 3-07, I received a call from a national radio program who wanted to interview me. They also wanted me to forward any material on the band, Lilith, that I had. I was grateful that I had 1/2 of the project ready - the photos that Diane had beautifully scanned, repaired and enhanced. I started to send them and he was quite impressed but said he needed newspaper clippings to show who we were and what the band had accomplished. "
Beth says, "I spent a week trying, unsuccessfully, to scan old articles. Many were in delicate condition. Finally, I made the call that saved me. I called Diane. She responded immediately and said she could begin the work the next day. I dropped the pile off and she went to work. When she says "scan," she means a lot more than that. She digitally repaired the articles and immediately forwarded them to the radio show for their web site. She did all the communication with the programmer (which I'm sure was a relief to him after trying to guide me in how to best do it)."
"Then she scanned all the material onto disc for me so that I have the archive that I've wanted for years. I look forward to working with her again in the future to create a web site and design a CD for my material with Lilith and as a solo artist."
" If you have any digital work that you need done, you will find Diane's work exceptional. And just as important, working with her was a breeze. Thank you Diane!" says Beth. Please give Diane a call at 413.773.7333.
